The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, Duke of Rothesay, Earl of Carrick, Baron of Renfrew, Lord of the Isles, Prince and Great Steward of Scotland
It must be amazing to be the king in waiting and that wait includes wondering when your mother will die for you to get the promotion of a lifetime. Seeing your mother on the throne for your entire life, and here you are, almost 70 years old, and not yet King. He is the second oldest in line to the throne, and his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, seems to be as healthy as someone half her age, and it is always possible the crown could go directly to the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William.
I have always wanted to see Prince Charles crowned King, which I always thought I would live long enough to see, and possibly to see Prince William get crowned King during my lifetime. I would see two Kings of England and a Queen. Sadly, that hope has faded and I will not be around to see even Prince Charles get crowned.
